One's career and life path is never a carbon copy of another, and nor should your words be. This is where and why starkwrd was born. Born from a need, want and desire to re-represent creative writing and poetic verse in new ways; into the arts and creative business realms.
To revamp and re-create poetic nuance, tone, and style into copy, articles, passages, branding, art descriptions, galleries and spaces to 'pimp up' your message and voice.
The heat and humidity of my home city, Hong Kong, sweated away any remaining desire to continue office days in a corporate world and instead, dive deeper into a re-kindling of an old lifelong confidant; a love for writing, art, design and music.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Art History (writing and sociology) in my back pocket and a catalogue of published and un-published editorial articles and poems, I packed up my mind and changed my world.
My next move was headed towards further artful consumption of social, cultural travels and sporting obsessions.
A consumption that complements my current lifestyle and adds invaluable satisfaction to my exciting career decision to write for YOU.
